Final Project Work: Lord Lambton

For my Final Major Project, I created a series of character busts and full body maquettes based on the characters and creatures from the legend of the Lambton Worm (in this case I use the archaic spelling Wyrm as it feels more appropriate). Despite evidence that the story is based around Sir John Lambton who lived during the 15th Century, I chose a more Anglo-Saxon/ Viking aesthetic for the project based on research into the background of the wyrm as a mythological creature. all the models were made with Super Sculpey around a Wire and aluminium foil armature.
